Keeping that "File paperwork" score high!

I feel pretty good about hitting my marks on all of the end-of-January stuff: state unemployment insurance, federal unemployment insurance, W-2s, and a letter to the Colorado Department of Revenue. It turns out I'm even early on some of the stuff, which technically is due on Monday.

It's snowing, but not all that hard, and what's hitting the concrete pad in the driveway is melting, for now. The Denver meteorologists actually mentioned the southern part of the state during the morning news, which must mean we're in for a real plastering.

In the meantime, I have some translation to do.

Cheers...

A long road...

Galina plans to leave for Houston tomorrow if the weather holds tonight. And that's going to remain a question until daybreak, when we'll quite literally have better visibility of the situation.

I managed to choke my way through 3100 words of translation. The subject is construction, which is bad enough, but the writer is... well... not very literate, so it's hard to figure out what is intended. As it is, it looks as if the PDF file I received consists of bits and pieces of a larger document.

At any rate, if Galina really is to go to Houston tomorrow, then I will shut all of this stuff down for the night and go upstairs and spend time with her. Probably a good idea whether she goes or not.

Cheers...
