Lining up my weekend...
Jan. 30th, 2004 08:09 pmWhile others lick their lips in anticipation of the Super Bowl in Houston, I've got to translate about 4,000 target words per day to make a tight Wednesday deadline. Add in a departure by Galina, probably sometime this weekend, and it makes for a pretty stressful couple of days.
We collected a check today at the title company, the remnant of what we refinanced minus the old mortgage on the house minus the loan on the store. While the house is now up to its eyeballs in hock to the bank, so to speak, the store is free and clear, at least. Galina, I, and the kids (including Huntur) went to the Montezuma Vinyard, a new local eatery, to celebrate. The food was good, and about the last thing I want to do right now is sit at this computer.
So, until tomorrow...
Cheers...
