Forest and Trees Dept...

So there I am last night, so strung out on stringing together words, that I missed mentioning the news of the day.

My mom tracked me down at my client's office (what a wonderful mental picture that makes, eh?) and left a message asking me to call back. When I did, she hit me with the Idea of the Year: she'd like to come visit Colorado, but would like to avoid airplanes. (I can't say that I blame the attitude, though I have different reasons for not liking to travel by air any more.)

Implementation of the plan would involve having someone (guess who?) come to the East Coast, pick up said mother, and drive to Colorado.

On the surface, it sounds a little... unusual. Impractical, perhaps. Definitely... different.

I like the idea, actually.

Now, we just have to work out a timetable and the details.

More immediately, I need to go occupy the bathroom before Others get There in front of me. :^)
