Cold streak snaps...

While it was nice to have what amounted to a week "off" (not counting the paper chase) after being overseas for nearly two months, I had begun to suffer from the "no-call-um" willies this past weekend. Said willies are an occupational hazard suffered, to one extent or another, by anyone who chooses the life of the free lance, and are characterized by an irrational belief that grows stronger with time, to the effect that work will not be forthcoming in the foreseeable future.

The only cure I am aware of is a call from a client... with an assignment.

I just received my cure, albeit by email. :^)

Two documents. One is due tomorrow; the other the day after. Life is good.
