Where DID the day go?
Sep. 13th, 2004 11:09 pmSnap!
And it's gone, emptier than a room full of CBS document verification experts.
The folks who assign work at The Office were not there as early as I was this morning, so I took the liberty of raiding the translation box for documents to edit. I did it again in after lunch and before leaving, so I'd have something to do when I arrive tomorrow. In each case, I did eventually get someone to officially assign me the documents, so all is okay.
I finished the big weekend job, and only realized after dotting the final 'i' and crossing the final 't' (figuratively speaking, of course), that my numbers for Saturday and Sunday were of the number of source words translated, so if you take account of the "expansion factor," my numbers look even better.
I have a hazard report revision to work on, due Wednesday morning, which I shall have to pound into the ground tomorrow since Galina and I are planning to leave Wednesday for Colorado. It may turn out we may not be able to do the "leave at 2 in the morning" bit if I end up working late on the revision. I'm thinking the best alternative might be to leave The Office early tomorrow, so I can have the report finished by six-ish.
That's idle speculation at this point, though. I need to get to sleep.
Cheers...
