Up and at 'em...!

I barely had time to finish my assignment here in Houston before being inundated with more work, thank goodness. Now I need to apply the brakes real hard and not overcommit my time, since I am supposed to help out at the store over the next few weeks. (Of course, being able to pay bills is also good!)

As of a few minutes ago, I have a short item due Monday/Tuesday, a 12,000-source word item due Thursday, and the Kazakhstan gig, which starts after Christmas. Too, I received a strange email dated yesterday at nearly 10 pm asking me to interpret for some folks who will be visiting the Oregon area next week (I sent a polite reply declining but offering a referral if additional information could be provided).

I am packed and need to get out of here in about 30 minutes, which ceteris paribus will place me at IAH with enough time to return the car and get checked in. Time to "turn to."
