Jan. 27th, 2005 08:51 pmBusy day today, and right now, I'm taking a few minutes out from a farewell dinner for one of the ILS managers to make this post.
I was roused from my time off to take a couple of people to tour the launch pad, where it was cold. The cold continued through the day, with the temperature rising to -22°C by early afternoon.
Criminy!
The afternoon was taken up with document translation ("configuration management" seems to be an alien concept around here), as well as a couple of trips to Hall 111 to view the assembled launch vehicle and to see it transferred to the erector-transporter.
Must run back to the farewell dinner.
