The eternal paper chase...
Feb. 24th, 2005 04:27 pmI'd like to say I've done nothing but chase paper the entire day, but that isn't the case. I've done enough to get thoroughly sick of handling all sorts of papers... the "shoebox" method really isn't a very good one for record-keeping purposes, and I plan to go into the store in a little bit to give the kids the rest of the day off (about an hour).
I've made some calls to clients in between, and everyone seems to report a similar quiet period for work into English. Given that I heard precious little from clients during my Kazakhstan gig, that would qualify the previous four months as very nearly dead, work-wise.
Those kinds of thoughts can't be very helpful, but there they are. I'm off to the store.
Cheers...
