I'm not really staying up...

I guess my nap "yesterday" afternoon - taken after coming home from a full day at the store - was a little more than a restful siesta.

There's a lot to do tomorrow. I'm thinking of going to Durango, as the black ink in my Epson printer is gone (and most other colors are about to give up the ghost). Then again, I need to put a bunch of things up on eBay, too.

I think I'll sleep on it. :^)

Huntür, si! Durango, no!

I awoke fresh and chipper this morning and wondered why on earth I would want to traipse an hour each to and from Durango just to get some printer cartridges. I figure between the gas and my (free) time, it's much better to have the courier service in Durango pick the stuff up from the Office Depot over there and bring it to me for about $11.00.

There is also the issue of my having promised to spend time with Huntür today to color Easter eggs (assuming her male parent - my son - remembered to spread the word... which is not necessarily a slam dunk).

I figure I have the morning to clean the place, mostly for my own sanity (and maybe for later egg-coloring, if everyone decides to come here).

It's snowing!

I missed the news from Punxsutawney, but apparently, local groundhogs must have seen distinct shadows of themselves around these parts last Groundhog Day. Winter is not giving up without a fight!

It is still fairly cold around these parts, too. I've got the heater going and it's only 67°F.

BTW, while I was fetching the scene above from my camera, I retrieved a shot of the living room as it was last week, ready to receive guests. I think if you didn't look too closely, you really wouldn't notice that the floor of the living room is bare plywood!



Off to eat lunch.
