Thank you, Baby!

The cat pulled out all stops this morning (as in the period after midnight) to liven up the party. I got up around 3 am ready to do anything to shut the animal up, but nothing seemed to fit the bill. Want to go outside? No. Want to eat? No. Want water? No.

I suspect the one question that would have gotten an affirmative response was: "Do you just want me to run around in the middle of the night when I should be sleeping, in an attempt to satisfy some whim of yours?"

Anyway, an indirect result of Baby's incessant scratching, meowing, and all-around attention-getting behavior is that I've checked and sent the remaining translation (leaving two small items for Tuesday, which aren't even on my radar right now), leaving me free to go to the ham breakfast shortly.

I have to steel myself to not accept any work today for Monday, as the paper-chase takes priority.
