Long day...

I "overslept" this morning, getting up at 9 am. I jumped into some clothes and drove to the store after someone (Drew) called from the store but didn't speak - probably a bad connection - and didn't answer when I called back.

There were loads of people looking for 2-cent stamps today. We sold out our stock yesterday, together with a small hoard of 1-cent stamps that've been lying around since about forever. Several people wanted to know why there haven't been any announcements in the news about the new rate, which goes into effect on Monday. I guess those folks who work in the big media outlets simply have too many more important things to which to direct people's attention.

The day pretty much tuckered me out. I think I'll sit down with Galina and watch Last Samurai.
