Strange day...
Mar. 31st, 2006 05:47 pmToday has been one of those strange days where it's almost 6 pm, and I feel as if I've only started to hit my stride.
Thinking about it, spending the better part of the morning at the store probably accounts for some of the feeling; a short nap after noon likely contributed as well.
I'll likely be setting up an eBay store this weekend, because for some reason, auctions don't seem to be working very well for me. Then again, I'm probably not alone. Last night, I bid at the opening level for a Belkin voice recorder for my 3G iPod (list $49; I bid $2.99) and a Belkin media reader (list $49; I bid $2.00), and won both this morning. (The seller will probably clear more in shipping charges, which amount to $9.00)
At any rate, I have a number of books that'll probably do well if a suitable buyer can be found. (I'm not talking about getting top dollar; I'm talking getting the book and buyer together!)
More work came in as well, to add to the 12,000 or so source words already in the hopper, though precious few have been translated today. The beat goes on.
Cheers...
