...and a wakeup!

Galina is hot under the collar about how much is being charged for some work around here. Unfortunately, it's because she doesn't nail down details in advance, and whenever there's no set plan, then wherever you end up is fair.

Myself, I'm hot about having missed paying the school tax bill, which was due yesterday. I'm going to go see about paying the thing in person today.

Although I'm generally not too bad about such things, I need to more systematically write down the steps involved in doing something non-trivial in terms of setting up my computing environment. 'Nuf said.

Not a happy camper...

Galina has been cracking the whip as if we were going to finish everything that needs to be done around here today, which is Not Going To Happen, barring about a dozen back-to-back repetitions of the curious event of Joshua 10. It's nearly 8 pm and she is still not shifting her attention to our departure, which makes me think she wants to do a lot of night driving on the way to Colorado, else time things to show up for the reception after the wedding Saturday.

Grrr.
