Back to reality...
Aug. 26th, 2008 08:27 amThere's nothing like working with a computer to knock some of the stuffing out of you.
Two files of a multi-file job I recently sent back to a client had defects in them; nothing fatal, but still annoying. So I generate an invoice in which I discount my fee for those files by 33%, and for the first time since coming up with the procedure for generating invoices, the end product was unreadable, which I did not catch until after sending the invoice.
Aaarrgghhhh!
It's corrected, now, but it's annoying to compound errors like that.
On the other side of the coin, August is looking pretty good, invoice-wise. In other news, the weather looks too threatening today to commit to a trip to Mesa Verde, so we may end up puttering around here.
Cheers...
