Blue funk Thursday...
Aug. 28th, 2008 09:35 pmI allowed myself to get into a rotten mood today when I learned that Drew and Shannon (a) would not be coming over for dinner as we had planned, and (b) were having fairly serious problems with their home loan.
The combination of the two seemed to produce a kind of evil synergy that I had a lot of trouble shaking (if, indeed, I managed to do so).
Network problems during the late afternoon didn't help.
In other news, after backing up the HP to my 1-TB external drive, I ended up with a whole 23 GB free on the device. Using NTFS hard links to address file duplication only freed up another 20 GB or so. This is the first external drive that I've had to fuss with in terms of running out of space, so I'm kind of out of practice. Still, 46 GB is a fairly sizeable amount of storage to wallow in.
Not many inquiries, but that's okay. I'm hoping not to get any calls until after Labor Day.
