My feeling of well-being seems to be back about where I like it to be and just in time, too! I've got a small pile of work to complete for Tuesday!

Earlier, while waiting for the coffee to brew, I downloaded a free app from The Weather Channel for my iPod, which proceeded to tell me that the outside air temperature was -16°F, which did not jive with our outside thermometer, or with the way my face felt when I went outside to turn our outside thermometer around so that it faced the window and not the mountains. In our neck of the woods, the temperature was a stately -2°F, or about -18°C.

Checking the current TWC temperature for our Zip Code shows it to be -14°F. Obviously, wherever they're getting their reading from around here is in a place that's a lot colder than where we are situated, at an altitude of 7800 feet.

Drew and a friend were just pushing the last of the snow off of Drew's roof when we showed up with the presents we had intended to bring a couple of days ago, so we went inside, made Santa's deliveries, and hung out for a little while.

Huntür is on the verge of losing a third tooth from that region of her mouth that is visible when she smiles, so she was preoccupied with guarding and tentatively wiggling the loosening incisor. Mathew's attention was totally devoted to his new Tonka backhoe (and I really, really hope that Tonka makes 'em as tough as when they made them when Drew was Mathew's age).

Afterward, Galina and I went to "Boss Hogg's" (an improvement, but not by much IMO, over the former name of "Hog's Breath Saloon"... man, I don't know about these local naming conventions) where we each splurged on a mushroom-and-swiss burger - we've been eating a lot of soup lately - and did some people-watching before swinging by the grocery store and then home.

All of this moving around was enough to cause me to take a nap that went perhaps a bit overtime, but there's nothing out-of-the-ordinary with that. In other news, I haven't done a lick of work, today, which doesn't really bother me, but will if I continue to stay lazy too much longer.

Perhaps I shall try making pilmeni dough with white, all-purpose flour. Or something.

Cheers...
