The FedEx driver never rings twice...
May. 6th, 2009 08:28 pmThe local Radio Shack had a reasonable sale going on for SD cards when I stopped by to browse today, so I picked up an 8 GB card, intending to use it on the road. As it turns out, webster (my venerable VAIO) doesn't seem to be able to read such a dense card, though hammer, my more recent HP, can with no problem. Ah, progress!
The Ford is about ready for Galina to take it on the road to Houston. Today, we finally clenched our teeth and had the tire place swap out our snow tires for something more summery, and replaced the wiper blades.
Also today, we learned that our Houston JAXA tenant of nearly 10 years will be returning to Japan at the end of June, so the pressure to find a replacement tenant is on! Galina will be looking in on both this and our other tenant, dealing with finding a new tenant, and visiting Natalie as well. I will remain in Pagosa to supervise the installation of floors and countertops (and, oh, yeah, to work, should any such stuff put in an appearance).
I did some morning walking today, ending up at the kids' place (though Drew picked me up along the way). It was nice to see Mathew interacting with Shiloh, who is quite docile around the boy. She seems to obey him better than she does me.
Cheers...
