The document I'm working on is full of some pretty arcane terminology that makes little intuitive sense even if you have a technical background, and my current stock of references hasn't helped much. But what completely flummoxes me is finding is that something like 2 out of 3 web searches for terminology I've found in the document return... hits containing only the document I'm translating!

This is not only amazing, but a bit intimidating, as well.

I've gotten off to a bad start today, starting late, running into a patch of untranslatable crap, and then having Galina ask me for "five minutes of my time" that turned into three-quarters of an hour, so I am hugely behind on my plan for the day.

I've got to snap out of it.

Cheers...

...or should that be "millstone"?

In the end, I managed to complete my self-imposed quota a bit ahead of yesterday's pace, mostly because I didn't stop to do any cooking!

Tomorrow is going to be one of those make-or-break kind of days (except that I don't intend on anything breaking around here!). To ensure that, I'm going to go rest my poor mass of gray matter!

Cheers...
