Drifting in a sea of Thursday...
Aug. 20th, 2009 08:40 pmThe bad news of the day was that I didn't get done what I had planned to. The counterbalance to that was that I really hadn't planned much to start with.
I had wanted to go out to Williams Lake with Shiloh, but I cannot put my hands on my fishing license, which has an endorsement on it to enable me to enter the so-called "habitat area" out there, and while I am sure the chances of getting caught are fairly slim, that slim chance would have been enough to ruin the pleasure of a stroll through the woods.
Consequently, I spent most of the day cleaning the office, hoping to uncover the thing, with no luck. The office is a lot cleaner, though, that's for sure.
It struck me, during today's conversation with Galina - done entirely over Skype I might add, i.e., from both ends - that she will be back in the States next week, and back here in Colorado soon after. It sent a good shiver up my spine.
Hopefully, tomorrow will be an easy day. I want it to be an easy day, because my eyeballs still hurt.
Cheers...
