Hard at work...
Nov. 19th, 2009 07:45 pmIt's not every day one runs across the blog of a cosmonaut currently flying aboard the ISS! (In Russian, no less!) So you just know I had to add Maksim Suraev's blog to my Bookmarks Toolbar, right?
In terms of excitement, that was about it for the day. Most of the work day was spent supporting a simulation, after which I went back home and had a solid, two-hour "nap." I get to do the same thing tomorrow, too, which isn't a bad way to earn one's daily bread, except that translation assignments are piling up. Sort of.
You see, the schedule I set up for myself between now and Thanksgiving assumes I won't be translating in the evenings today and tomorrow. However, there's that workaholic part of me that is going a little ballistic over the fact that I'm not doing at least some small part of the total, so as to get a leg up on all the stuff I have to do.
Then again, perhaps forcing myself to do something else these two evenings will enable me to work more efficiently over the weekend, who knows? There are, for example, some stamps I can be cataloging.
Cheers...
