Feeling better than yesterday...

I closed the work day yesterday with as many words left to translate as I had translated yesterday. Normally, this would not be a problem, except for two things: (a) Natalie came by around 10pm to shoot some breeze and spend the night, which entailed some welcome, but work-impacting distraction this morning, and (b) by 10 pm last night, I felt like something a cat wouldn't bother dragging in (and I'm a pretty good judge of that kind of stuff, believe me).

Fortunately, I managed to get off to a pretty good start, and right now I've got less than 600 words left before "turning to" on despeckling. There are a handful of figures to take care of in the document, but I figure I can take care of those later tonight (or early tomorrow morning). The absolutely critical thing is going to be finishing the job and then despeckling it for delivery ASAP.

First, however, I'm going to take about a half-hour break, maybe read some more LJ Idol entries.
