New document set...

A good client sent me a set of documents that appear to have been hammered together by committee, which in and of itself is not surprising. It's just that, in this case, each member of the committee appears to have taken turns typing sections of each document, resulting in a most unholy mess of formats and non-formats.

Still, I've managed to knock off a sizable chunk of work after the initial smack upside the head by the news that this week's LJ Idol effort was to involve partnering with another Idoler. The idea has since taken root and plans are afoot, or athwart, or something.

The State of the Plate holds the prospect of "no idleness for me" at least until Saturday night, though I am sure I will find the time - and that's always the trick, to find the time - to work an Idol essay into the schedule.
