'Twas a cold, crisp day out our way today. More work came in and went back out. Tomorrow, I must do some invoicing.

The latest iteration of Boxee actually works when you click on TV shows, and I have been enslaved by Life, a two-season series starring Damian Lewis and Sarah Shahi. Galina was a fan of the show during its run, but I never seemed to have the time to watch, so my watching was sporadic.

I liked the show, if for no other reason that it wasn't a clone of the many other clone shows out there (there was a time I half expected to see an announcement for CSI: Pagosa Springs). And my viewing was sporadic enough - and I forget story lines fast enough - that I'm still being entertained.

Boxee also manages to play DVDs even if the computer you're running it on has no DVD-playing software.

I got to thinking that I could probably 'complete' the verb graphics I worked on yesterday by adding a section on the past definite and the imperfect subjunctive, but I figure as long as I have a good idea of how to recognize these tenses, I don't actually need to know how to generate them.

So the next step is to figure out how to keep track of what, exactly, is irregular about specific irregular verbs.

In other news, I'm about 15% of the way through a box of 1000 vocabulary flash cards, and have three basic piles: words that I know, words that I don't know at all, and words that I sort-of-kind-of know. The second and third piles are large enough to make this exercise worthwhile, though I have been rather strict about what goes in that last pile.

Cheers...
