Last leg luggage...
Jul. 23rd, 2010 07:22 pmThe stuff that didn't fit in the box I sent home yesterday went into a suitcase that my dad used somewhere in the mid-1960s. I picked the bag based on its convenient size and apparent good condition.
What I didn't realize was that the heavy thread used to hold the various parts together were old and fragile.
How the bag manage to get to Denver in one piece ia a miracle. That it arrived in less-than-pristine condition, is not so surprising, and I haven't worked up the nerve to open it and check the contents. The weight is about right, though.
It's good to be in Colorado.
Cheers...
