It sure didn't feel like a Monday...
Dec. 20th, 2010 11:10 pmThe weather has been pretty homogeneous these past few days, at least as far as the sky is concerned, as there appears to be a permanent sea of white all around. This morning, however, I noticed that the snow around the base of the trees in our "back yard" had melted and that water was dripping fairly energetically from our roof.
Natalie just landed a few minutes ago in Albuquerque, so the game is afoot! With any luck, tomorrow will not be the utter mess threatened by the National Weather Service (the NWS weather advisory advised folks in "our" area—which I interpreted to mean the vicinity of the Grand Mesa and not our neck of the woods here in the southwest—to stock up on necessities to get 'en through several days!), which will allow Natalie to get to Pagosa.
It's been a long day, and Shiloh is whining about something. Gotta go check.
Cheers...
