Back and forth...

The Roosevelt Field shopping mall was not designed to permit shoppers to pick up sizeable items (such as queen-sized mattresses and box springs) nor was our Ford van designed to carry such merchandise, so we ended up renting a U-Haul at the special $19.99-for-the-day rate (insurance, gas, and mileage all very extra) and managed to get the goods home with minimium additional expenditure of nerves.

At least now, there are beds in all of the bedrooms. ;^)

The morning was spent with the books in the garage. The count so far is 6 boxes to the library, an equal number in the trash, a dozen boxes intended for the den once the floors are taken care of, two boxes of books for Pagosa (so far), and 4 boxes that might very well end up back in the basement. I'm not finished yet, either, but time grows short.
