Circling the drain...

Galina reports that Alla is feeling a little cooped up spending days in a car. The good news is that they'll arrive tomorrow; the bad news is that they'll be arriving in Houston.

I'll need to kick my productivity up a notch to take care of things in general, including things that aren't translation. The feedback from the showings of Natalie's house—stuff is undone—make me regret having paid the crew that worked on it before they had finished the work completely. I'll plead mea culpa on that one; I'll give a call tomorrow and hopefully, the work will get done soon.

Shiloh has been the best company a dog can be, but it's falling far short of my comfort level. I amused myself earlier during a break by going back and looking at pictures I took of her back at the pound.

I'm starting to percolate with story ideas, but the best I can do at this point is simply jot them down.

It's early yet, but I have no desire to remain at the keyboard today. Good night.
