Lots of Netflix...
May. 11th, 2012 10:45 pmI substantially cleared the decks of outstanding work this morning. leaving a half dozen reworks to do that are due next week. This left the rest of the day clear to continue to move back in to the house.
Soon after clearing out the storage area under the verandah on the northease side of the house, i happened to step out onto the verandah and look down, whereupon I spied a seven-legged tarantula (that I could tell the arachnid was short a leg at a distance of about 15 feet is no testament to my eyesight... due to his size, Mr. T was pretty hard to miss). As he seemed a little lost, I went down and around the house, and put the spider back under the boards where I suspect it lived before we disturbed it.
In the aftermath of the Boxee disappointment, galina and I have been watching a lot of netflix via my iPad. Last night, I watched Tom Selleck play Dwight Eisenhower in a fairly inoffensive story of the 90 days leading up to the Normandy Invasion. This evening, Galina and I watched Mozart's Sister, which really captivated me.
