A contrast in pleasant...
The amateur radio breakfast was particularly nice this morning. It turned out that it was Mack and Marie's 60th wedding anniversary. Later in the day, Marie sent a picture taken right after the ceremony, and while I could make the link between the image of the Marie of 1952 and of her today, I'd be hard pressed to say if I saw any such resemblance in the respective two version of Mack. Here's to many more anniversaries!
Galina left for Houston about mid-morning. To get my mind off that subject, I spent the day translating, and made quite a bit of progress. If I can figure out a way to duplicate that progress today and tomorrow on The Paleolithic Job™, I'll be in pretty good shape (especially as another 36,000 words marched in the door yesterday, due at intervals between the end of the month and the end of July).
