Daylight's burnt (quite a bit!)...

My nap of yesterday afternoon was apparently too... intense, for although it gave me a good second wind toward completing about 7,000 words for the day, when the time came to fall asleep for real, I found it quite difficult to do so until way past midnight.

The heat that had built up in the house probably had a role in that, and instead of opening a window and trying to get a breeze going, I stretched out on the couch downstairs, where it was cooler, and eventually zonked out.

I have just over 3,000 words of The Paleolithic Job™ to complete, and—between various commitments—about a day to finish them before Monday dawns, so I better get to it.
