The article I translated was all about a carved bit recovered from a Bronze Age burial ground, having mostly to do with the design on the bit (a rider and his horse). If you had told me the subject would thoroughly captivate me for the better part of a quiet Sunday, I'd have been most skeptical, but there you have it.
