Another busy day...

I took care of what arrived yesterday morning and sent it off just in time to get dressed and down to the hotel for the morning sessions. They were both informative, each in a different way (the first was a discussion of keying mushrooms; the second, on the nature of mycrorrhizal mushrooms). After lunch, a retired cook (he used to own a restaurant down in Taos until he retired to paint in 2005) demonstrated how one might use what one collects in the kitchen.

If anything, today was at least as exhausting as yesterday's day in the field, despite an afternoon nap.

I need some time to catch my breath, but those packing boxes keep calling...
