Where did the day go?
Jan. 19th, 2013 10:04 pmWell, I know that part of it disappeared down the work well. I still have 4,000 words left to despeckle for Monday.
Another part was spent bringing the Asus up to snuff. Another, researching "bitcoins" on the Internet (why anyone would use them is something I'm trying to figure out, albeit with little success thus far).
We met an interesting couple while garage-saling, of all places, when Galina spied a fellow sufferer with a pick-up truck that looked like it might haul something we had just bought. It turns out he and she do a lot of traveling and appear to be interesting people. Their dog—a Belgian Malinois—is also the cutest thing (though not as cute as Thumper, IMO, and Shiloh is more distinguished than cute). We invited them to visit tomorrow for a late afternoon dinner.
Time to shut off the computer (although to be fair, it hasn't been on all day the way it usually is the case around here).
