"Season finale" week...

This would appear to be the week for "season finale" shows, although how any of that comes to pass seems nothing short of a miracle, given all of the apparent rearrangements in schedule (heck, I seem to recall that Elementary was bumped out of the schedule by March Madness!).

I was prepared to not like the Castle finale last night, based on how the "scenes from next week's show" was edited last week, which made Castle sound like a complete boob. As things turned out, he did the only thing he felt he was capable of doing—to which I might add: about time! That said, the question remaining at the end of the show is not easily resolved. Personally—as I've said previously—I'd like the show to become sort of a relfection of The Thin Man with its own unique twist on Hammett's original concept.

This evening, Galina and I watched the finale of NCIS (saving the end of the Los Angeles show for tomorrow night), and although it would appear to promise some pretty neat developments down the line, I'm really not quite sure where the story left off. Ah, well... you can't have everything in life.

* * *Work was work. I sent off a good chunk of finished files, and new stuff has come in. The rhythm of work appears to have been restored.
