Feeling a little short of time...

I really hadn't realized the scope of my revised travel schedule until today. On Thursday, you see, the idea still hadn't sunk in, and I spent the better part of yesterday mostly cross-eyed from translating 300 pages of parts lists, so there wasn't much time left over for reflection there, either.

Today, however, the notion tapped me quite solidly between the running lights, which in and of itself would've been alarming enough, but then I got sidetracked by this and that (not to mention it being Galina's birthday, which is by definition not a distraction), so that by the time the early evening rolled around, I was experiencing a kind of mild paralysis induced by not knowing where to start digging.

Actually, that's not really true. If I am guilty of anything today, it has been not assiduously chopping away at the to-do list, for in looking at said list, I've completed 9 of 14 items. True, there are two rather substantial time sinks among the items yet to be completed, but at least I've started both of them.

The good news is that tomorrow is Sunday, and if I get a little traction early in the day, I may end up with a greatly eased situation by Monday morning.

Stuff will start to get real on Tuesday, though, but once it starts, I'll simply be along for the ride until Friday morning.
