Feeling much better...
Aug. 24th, 2013 07:56 amI endured yet another day of rapid degeneration of mood and energy level today, and it finally got to me that the real culprit was a collection of allergy symptoms (itchy eyes, sneezing, runny nose), so I got some relief in that direction and feel about a thousand percent better, just a few points off of all cylinders.
Despite best efforts, I find that some things got displaced around here in my absence, and so I've not been exactly at 100% in the technology department, either.
In that context, it's been a boon that translation requests have been rather minimal since my return. I'll need to ramp my work load back up pretty soon, but just not today.
Jet lag still has a weak grip on me as I write this. It's nearly 8 pm local time, which is 4 am in Moscow (given the period I was in Moscow, Baikonur time no longer is a factor), and so I feel a sort of BMNT-induced languor that impels me to look longingly at the bed. I'll try to fight it off just a bit longer.
Or not.
