I was up to my neck in a text that had me going back repeatedly to change my wording and make things consistent, which slowed me down considerably, but eventually I finished the work, which I will look over one last time tomorrow morning and send off.

That was the big news for the day.

In other revelations, Galina and I braved the traffic around Baybrook Mall in the afternoon, on our way to replenish our stock of pet foot, and found the experience actually less frantic than usual. What this might signify is up in the air, but at least the animals are set, food-wise, for a while.
