One huge Windows annoyance...
Feb. 8th, 2014 12:31 pmSo there I am, dragging a bunch of files from some folder into the "root" of another folder.
With mouse button depressed, I position my mouse cursor over the target folder, whereupon, just as I am releasing my mouse button:
...Windows finishes playing catchup and refreshes the window so that the cursor is now positioned over a completely different folder, or...
...I have waited entirely too long for Windows to finish playing catchup and refreshes the window to show all of the subdirectories of the target folder, with my cursor now positioned over one of the subdirectories.
Aaaarrgghhh!
I don't know... maybe I would find my proposed solution has some intolerable down side, but how about "if my left mouse button is down and the cursor enters a window with legitimate target destinations for whatever it is I am dragging, do not update said window until I either release the mouse button or the cursor exits the window.
