Checkpoints...
Feb. 11th, 2014 11:24 pmMy experiment using a Kaweco Sport pen in "eyedropper" mode (without a cartridge, using the whole of the compartment where the cartridge is supposed to go as ink storage) came to an end with my red ink pen when it became clear that the pen's mechanism and my Noodler's "We Will Bury You" red ink just didn't play well together, resulting in the pen releasing entire drops of ink while in use.
Since going over to "cartridge" mode, the pen has worked well, and since I don't use it enough to warrant refilling the cartridge any more often than when I refilled the pen in eyedropper mode, everything is copacetic. (As it turns out, I use the pen while despeckling printouts of translations.)
Curiously, the cheapo plastic eyedropper pen from Noodler's that came as a freebie with the bottle of ink works great.
In other news, work came in, work went out, and the best of intentions to take a good, long walk in the morning went awry.
Situation normal...
