Reunion...
Apr. 6th, 2014 09:42 pmWhile visiting Fry's this afternoon, I met up with an old acquaintance and introduced him to my family, and half-joked that it represented our "family reunion."
"Something you do every year?" asked my friend. I thought for a moment.
"So far," I replied. It'd be good to make sure we do something like this every year.
With the grandkids here, it was inevitable, I suppose, that we visit Toys-R-Us, and I was flabbergasted at not only the scope of the marketing, but also at a pervasive feeling that all of the wares on display required very little imaginative input on the part of the user.
We had a late lunch at Papacitos (Natalie's favorite place), and brought home something like 5 to-go boxes of leftovers, which fueled a light dinner.
A very good day.
