I managed to sign up in time for a class at a local nursery on "square foot gardening." It's a pretty good deal, because the entire fee for the class can be applied toward class-related products. The class was interesting, and I came away with enough new information to make the whole experience a positive one.

The rest of the day went by in a blur, and here it is, half past ten in the evening. I'm only a little behind where I wanted to be in terms of work, which is good. I have not given much thought at all to this week's LJ Idol prompt, which gives me an idea for tonight's sleep session: come up with some ideas! Or more specifically: good ideas.

I did one of my routine scans of eBay earler, looking at French stamps, whereupon I found an auction in which the description of the goods was completely off. Apparently, the offeror was able to make out "Institute de Gravure–Paris" on the bottom of each stamp that's part of a set, and assumed that the stamps were intended for postage in France. However, said Institute has printed stamps for a number of countries, over the years, including the 1930 set from Ethiopia, commemorating the coronation of Haile Selassie, that is actually what is being auctioned. The starting bid price is actually higher than the catalog value, and that's if the stamps are genuine and not reprints (again, according to the catalog). Ah, well...

Cheers...
