Slow progress...
Jul. 25th, 2014 11:06 pmGalina's been traveling to Natalie's house every day this week, so I finally decided it was time to put the bicycle in the garage through its paces, in case I actually needed to get out of the house for something I can't find at the corner convenience store.
The cost of air at said store has gone up a quarter, to a full dollar, unless I want to pay with a credit card, in which case the cost is $1.50. After pressurizing the tires, I managed to put some mileage under my pedals, which is relatively easy in these parts, as the terrain is utterly flat, varied only by the ramps that transition between sidewalk and street.
While getting around is not a problem, carrying anything with me is, so if I expect to ever have to buy something at the grocery store at the other end of the street that runs past the house, I'll have to find a solution that involves either a basket or a backpack.
Did a bunch of translation. Still no progress on writing anything else.
Cheers...
