Even short journeys...
Oct. 17th, 2014 10:32 pmThere's the old saw about how a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. Well, it's likely not going to make the news, but so do short journeys.
After yesterday's 7,000-word marathon, I needed to finish 3,000 words today (and I need to repeat this trick tomorrow and Sunday) to stay on track for a Monday delivery, but getting to that point was a bit like pulling teeth.
I find that a little strange, because the subject is aerospace, and that's not usually a theme that slows me down. Then again, I think I began to accelerate a bit through the second half of today's work.
Maybe tomorrow will be easier than today.
One can always hope.
