Paddling as fast as I can...
Apr. 27th, 2015 08:41 pmI returned about 2,300 target words, completed another 500 or so words to the point where the documents are complete (albeit the assignments are not), and have another 2,500 source words complete and ready to be despeckled.
Not bad for a day's work.
The Aereo/Tivo came today. It turns out that folks are going to give this idea a new try.
The problem with the original was that Aereo wanted to deliver recorded over-the-air content over the Internet, but after the customary fuss raised by the broadcasters, the service got shut down.
So now, I've got a nice, shiny new Tivo unit that will do my recording for me and provide similar functionality (including some features I currently get only from my Roku).
Setup was a breeze. By the time I figured out how to switch inputs on my remote, the Tivo had just about finished its initial configuration.
I am exhausted. I think I will go play with the electronics.
