One heck of a week...

The one thing I have not done yet today is create an invoice for work done this past week. I think I will wait until tomorrow morning, when my mind is fresh, to do that. My billing routines tell me that—while this past week was not sufficient to salvage October—billings for this past week exceed those for the first 25 days of the month.

Believe me, this past week did not require any kind of superhuman effort (though it did keep me from addressing the Slow Stuff™, of which I have about 1500 words left. The terminology in this part of the job is mind-numbing, but I figure I'll get through it and get everything formatted and tied up with a pretty pink ribbon by the Monday deadline.

For the first time evah, Galina and I went and bought costumes (or at least the makings of one, for me), as we plan on spooking the heck out of folks around us tomorrow. Don't ask me from where this sudden urge sprang. I'm just glad it did.

With any luck, I'll have photos tomorrow.
