Not quite the way I had planned the day...
Dec. 3rd, 2015 11:01 pmMy carefully planned regime over the past few days came apart today, but then again, it's not every day that Natalie and Kyle blow into town, which they did, arriving at IAH at shortly after 11 in the morning.
By that time, I had already gotten up at 4:40 am, done some planning, done some translation, driven to my doctor's office, picked up some paperwork, stopped by a lab, had blood drawn, and a few other things—getting up early really gives one an opportunityt to get stuff done, let me tell you.
On the way home, we stopped at some of Natalie's favorite haunts (e.g., Central Market), and got home around 4 pm.
I was prepared to go to taiji, but the idea was not to leave the kids without transportation (they really wanted to go back to the LA Crawfish restaurant), in the end, I discarded a lot of planning by concluding that I should spend the time with Natalie and Kyle, so I did.
Big day tomorrow, and I'm going to try for a early-to-rise hat trick!
Cheers...
