Ah, to be remembered...
Mar. 24th, 2016 11:34 amMy spies reliably inform me that recently, someone mentioned my wife, Galina, during the airing of the televised talk show Пусть Говорят (Let Them Talk) in Russia. The program touched upon various aspects of the fashion industry in the Soviet era, in connection with the broadcast of a miniseries on the life (and death, in 1987) of fashion model Regina Zbarskaya, who was, apparently and among other things, an agent of the KGB and, as it happens, one of Galina's colleagues.
This news induced in me a fit of search-fu on the Internet, during which I found several other references to my wife, including the "fact" that she ended up marrying a handsome American astronaut or an English banker.
Actually, she got stuck with me, and based on the accuracy of the above, I really had no choice but to completely discount the rest of what has been reported about my better half over the years.
The curiosity itch scratched, I now return to a consideration of dams, embankments, and water seepage.
Cheers...
