Murphy strikes!
May. 25th, 2016 10:50 pmMy to-do list was long enough after this morning's planning session that out of nowhere, I started jotting down approximate times for how long various tasks would take me to do. When I counted up the overall time, I had a solid 12 hours of activity lined up.
So of course, among the first things to happen today is for Galina to call and tell me that this fellow we often call on to do stuff around the house will be around later, and that I need to help him. Then other stuff happened, the retelling of which would be boring (for you) and painful (for me).
In short, I look at that list, and while I did get some of the more important stuff done (which, after all, represent the "big rocks" in that been-told-a-thousand-times motivational story, and therefore, represents A Good Thing™), some of the other important stuff didn't get done.
Ah, well. Ad astra...
