A day like they used to make 'em...

I finished translating an interesting article about the details of Gagarin's one-orbit flight back on April 12, 1961, which will go out tomorrow once I've given it one last eyeballing and spot check, as well as an assignment that came in last Thursday. It was a fairly sustained effort, but not murderous. A month of days like this would, I think, be do-able.

Then again, what I think changes all the time, especially when it concerns what I think I am physically capable of, these days. I've had days where every keystroke, it seems, is being tapped out by sheer willpower, until I can think of nothing other than lying down for a nap.

I need to avoid those days, and have more of the ones like today.
