Testing, testing...
Jun. 7th, 2016 10:03 pmToday was spent mostly at MD Anderson, subjecting myself to a full-body bone scan and a CT scan of my torso and pelvis. A requirement to report for blood collection at 6 am caused me to leave the house entirely too early, and to tell the truth, once I woke up at 2 am, I never really got back to sleep. My feet hit the floor, however, somewhere around 4 am.
I overheard (can one really eavesdrop on a television broadcast?) that some tropical storm (name begins with C—Colin?) blew by Florida, and felt compelled to call my first boss, who calls that part of the world his home, despite the earnest entreaties of his daughters ("I can't leave," he told me. "All my doctors are here!").
His neighborhood got some rain and wind, but he's okay. We had a good conversation.
Despite the fact that the CT department was running more than 30 minutes late, I managed to finish and get out at a reasonable hour, so that I was able to make it to taiji with time to spare.
Taiji pretty much exhausted me.
So I suppose I ought to go do some rack drill.
Cheers...
